Djarot Launches Development of Sailboat and Jetski Venues

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, has launched the development of Asian Games venue for sailboats and jetski sport, pier and halfway house of Seribu Islands District in Barat Ancol area, Pademangan, North Jakarta.

The venues of sailboat, pier and halfway house are developed on a 2.68-hectare wide land. While the jetski venue, is developed at Pantai Indah Ancol, with a 1.6-hectare wide land.
"We do a groundbreaking for two locations at once. They are for pier, shelter house, sailboat and jetski venues," he stated, Thursday (10/12).

While for the development of pier and halfway house is conducted by PT Pelindo 2 as an obligation of the developer.
After it is finished, it is hoped all facilities are not only used for 2018 Asian Games. In future, related units such as Jakarta Provincial Government, central government and sport association can synergize maximize utilization.
"I hope we can finish it quickly, we build a Public Service Mall over three weeks. This is as a gift for people of Jakarta and Seribu Islands to be proud of," he expressed.
On the other hand, the Committing Officer (PKK) for Sailboat and Jetski Venue, Eki Arsita Rizki added it is ideally taking eight to ten months. However, his side will accelerate the process of workmanship at the request of the governor.
"It's impossible taking under six months. We predict it will take more than six months," he closed.
